After climbing over the walls of Jerusalem and surviving an earthquake in jail, Paul is finally able to relax with a luncheon hosted by Lydia. Paul gets some last minute instructions before he heads over the walls of Jerusalem at the start of Day 2 of Vacation Bible School 2011. The season of Lent begins this week – that period of time when we try to give up something (usually something we enjoy – like chocolate) in preparation for Easter. This year Rev. Hannah Lee has come up with a 'twist' on Lent at Teeswater United Church with Lenten Options – a series of alternatives to the usual practices. One of these Options is 'Faith, Films and Food', a series of four movies for adults on the four Sundays of Lent, intended to spur thought and sharing.
