after-the-eggsWhat would Easter be without an Easter Egg Hunt?

Saturday morning the Teeswater Kinettes held their annual Easter Egg Hunt under the trees at the Teeswater-Culross Community Centre. This year about 75  youngsters (of all ages!) participated in the hunt, rushing about looking for the oversized plastic eggs amongst the leaves. And unlike last year’s event, Mother Nature cooperated, with a warm, sunny morning enjoyed by all.

At the Easter Egg Hunt the winners of the Easter Colouring Contest were announced. In the Pre-school – Senior Kindergarten division the winners were: Zachary Collins, Owen Smith and Michelle vanStuyvenberg. In Grades 1 – 3 the winners were: Candace Colvin, Kloe Fischer and Jasmin Schiestel. And in the Grades 4 – 8 division the winners were:  Hanna Abell, Emily Erenwein and Mac Fischer. Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated in the contest!
