7:30 pm. tonight – Canada Hockey Place (aka GM Place or The Garage) – Canada and Russia get a chance to show what all the hype was about (CTV main network).

But will it be the Sea of Canadian Red that prevails or the rising Red Tide lead by Alexander the Gr8?

Both teams enter the game with major question marks – can Ovechkin and Malkin operate on the same page?, will Zinoviev out of the lineup change the chemistry? – will Lou #2 become Louie the Great or Louie the Goat?, will all the high priced talent not named Crosby or Iginla or Staal FINALLY show up to play (Hi there Joe Thornton, enjoying your front row seat?)?.

This should be the best hockey game of the tournament, bar none, and by about 10:30 or so we will have an answer.
