1 Poor day for planting, seeds tend to rot in ground.
2-4 Plant tomatoes, beans, peppers, corn, cotton, and other above ground crops on these most fruitful days. Plant seed beds. Start flower gardens.
5-9 Grub out weeds, briars, and other plant pests.
10-11 Favorable days for planting roots crops. Fine for sowing hay, fodder crops and grains. Plant flowers.
12-14 Good days for planting beets, carrots, radishes, turnips, peanuts and other root crops. Also good for cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, kale, celery, and other leafy vegetables. Start seed beds.
15-16 Barren days. Do NO planting.
17-18 Favorable days for planting beets, carrots, turnips, radishes, onions, and other root crops.
19-20 Excellent time to kill weeds, briars, poison ivy, and other plant pests.
21-22 Favorable days for planting root crops, extra good for vine crops. Set strawberry plants.
23-24 Poor planting days. Break ground or cultivate.
25-26 Favorable for planting beans, corn, cotton, tomatoes, peppers, and other above ground crops.
27-29 Poor days for planting. Seeds tend to rot in ground.
30 Plant tomatoes, beans, pepper, corn, cotton, and other above ground crops on this most fruitful day. Plant seed beds. Start flower gardens.
