Wild and Woolly!

When you think of sports and hobbies, from the last second touchdowns to wild hockey fights and even the odd dustup in the Major Leaguess, it might be surprising to find that one of the fast growing hobbies in the world is…
KNITTING! That's Right!… KNITTING!
Around the world, women, MEN and even children are picking up needles and balls of yarn and clicking away to their hearts content. In fact in some countries in Europe, knitting has been re-introduced into the school curriculum!
At the forefront of this wave are a group of Canadian knit designers with names like The Sweet Sheep and The Yarn Harlot, creating patterns with a truly Canadian flare that are desirable around the world.
Riding the crest to an even further dimension is Teeswater's own Lori Law, who while admittedly not a household name in this area, is watched by thousands of knitting enthusiasts around world, not only for her unique patterns but also for her hand-dyed wools and silks designed to complement her patterns. Proof of her growing popularity was a recent order for merino wool and patterns from KAZAKHSTAN!
And how about the woollen shop in England that upon receipt of a large order last month emailed Lori immediately… it seems that the ENTIRE order had been purchased in the first 4 hours on the shelves!
Published in a number of major knitting magazines and anthologies, Lori continues to work quietly at building her reputation for quality hand-dyed wools and silks, in true Canadian fashion!
